Private lessons on one of Jess’s experienced, well-schooled horses at Waikite Valley. Focused on position, building skills and confidence, great for beginners learning to ride or more established riders wanting to widen their skill set. Have your own horse? You’re welcome to ride them instead.
Ride one of Jess’s horses
Most lessons are on one of Jess’s own horses: honest, well-schooled partners matched to your experience and goals. It’s the easiest way to learn. There’s no float to hitch, no gear to bring, and you get to feel what correct, balanced work is like on a horse that knows the job.
Lessons take place at Dajata in Waikite Valley. Helmets are available to borrow; just wear sturdy boots with a small heel and comfortable trousers.
